Tuition fees

• How much do I have to pay for tuition fees? (students enrolled from the Academic Year 2023/24)

  The annual tuition fee depends on your citizenship and country of residence:

  • if you are an EU or an EU-equated citizen (Island, Norway, Liechtenstein, San Marino, Switzerland) or a non-EU citizen with the family unit residing in Italy, your tuition fees will be calculated based on income, merit and personal situation (you can calculate the ISEE Parificato to reduce it);
  • if you are a non-EU/EEA citizen with family unit residing outside of Italy, you will have to pay a fixed and non-reducible tuition fee;
  • if you are a citizen of a country defined as particularly poor or developing, the fixed tuition fee is redefined as one-third of the reference value.

• How much do I have to pay for tuition fees? (students enrolled until the Academic Year 2022/23)

  The annual tuition fee for all international students enrolled until the A.Y. 2022/23 is calculated based on income, merit and personal situation (you can calculate the ISEE Parificato to reduce it).

• Can I apply for the regional scholarship to obtain the fee-waivers?

  Yes, you can. All international students can apply for a regional scholarship; if eligible, you can benefit from a total fee-waiver and, if their position in the final list is covered from the available funds, you can also receive the scholarship-related amount.

• What are the deadlines for payments for first year students?

  The annual fee for first year students is divided into three instalments:

  1. the first is paid when accepting the admission offer (€ 205 admission fee);
  2. the second, to be paid by 15 February 2026;
  3. the third, to be paid by 15 May 2026.

  Payments made after the due date will be subject to a late payment fee of € 21 up to 15 days late, and of € 54 euro the 16th day of late payment onwards.

• What are the deadlines for payments for students enrolled after the second year onwards?

  The annual fee for students enrolled in the second year and onwards is divided into three instalments:

  1. the first, due by 30 September 2025 (€ 585);
  2. the second, to be paid by 15 February 2026;
  3. the third, to be paid by 15 May 2026.

  Payments made after the due date will be subject to a late payment fee of € 21 up to 15 days late, and of € 54 from the 16th day of late payment onwards.

  Please note that you must pay the first instalment of your fees in order to confirm your enrolment for the academic year. 

• If I complete my UniPD studies by December 2025, do I have to pay the first instalment for the new academic year due in September?

  You do not have to pay the first instalment for the new Academic Year, because you will obtain your UniPD degree in a session relating to the previous Academic Year.

• If I complete my UniPD studies after January 2026, which instalments do I have to pay?

  If you are awarded a UniPD degree between January and April 2026, you will have to pay the first and second instalments; if you obtain your degree from May 2026 onwards, you must also pay the third instalment.

  Only students enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree programme related to Health Professions and who obtain their UniPD degree by April 2026 do not have to register for the new Academic Year and are not required to pay any fees.

• Can I request a copy of the payment receipts for the University instalments?

  A self-certification form attesting the fee paid for each calendar year is available in your UNIWEB reserved area.

  If this is not sufficient, you will need to request a certificate, also available in English, from the Student Career Office (www.unipd.it/en/certificates).
