How to Apply

Registering

You can register on the application platform apply.unipd.it using the red button “Sign in/register” on the top right corner of the screen. A pop-up window will appear; please remember to select the correct nationality. You will be asked to fill in your personal information along with a username and password.

You must use the same profile and credentials to access the application platform; however, you are required to submit a new application for the upcoming Academic Year since the admission offer is valid for one academic year only.

You must click on the “Sign in/Register” button in the top right corner on our application platform
If you forgot your email address but remember your Applicant Code:
- click on the link right below the email address field,
- type your Applicant Code and follow the instructions.
If you forgot your password:
- type in your email address in the relative field;
- click on “Send a one-time link/register” button (a one-time login link will be sent to your email address),
- check your inbox: you should have received a link redirecting you to the appropriate page in order to continue the recovery process. You should have also been provided with a PIN code, if required by the process.

Fill in the profile section

Fill in your profile using the exact data as it is printed on your passport (or official ID). If you have more than one name or surname, you must include them all in the appropriate field (e.g. if you have a middle name and this is included in your passport as part of your first name, you need to include it as well).
In case of admission, your personal information will be included in all the official documents; please make sure you fill in all fields correctly! -
Please fill in the relevant field with “xxx”.
If a name or surname is later added to your passport, you must contact the Admissions and Welcome Unit to edit your profile.
Fill in the Education section

Yes, include it as Upper Secondary Education instead of your Upper Secondary Education Diploma.

In the “GPA/Average grade”, please indicate your final GPA / final average. If you are still completing your secondary education/ bachelor’s degree, write your current GPA / average grade.
In the “Maximum GPA / Average grade possible”, indicate the highest achievable grade (numeric or alphabetic) according to the grade scale used in your country’s national education system and/or institution as indicated in your transcript of records.
You can also ask your university to provide you with the official grading scale and attach it to your application.

You can calculate your own GPA using the grading scale of your institution as reference.
Checklis section: check the tasks

Tasks displaying a red stop symbol are mandatory tasks. You have to complete these task in order to submit your application. If not completed, these tasks will prevent you from submitting the application (the task mentions “blocks application”).
To complete the task, you must upload the required document(s) in the correct format and then select the appropriate choice in the task.
Read each task’s instructions very carefully before uploading any document.
Upon completion the task will appear as “resolved”.
When all mandatory tasks are completed, you will be able to submit your application.

Tasks displaying a yellow warning sign are not mandatory at the application stage (the task mention “needs attention”). These tasks will NOT block your application and they can be completed after submitting the application.
You can submit your application without completing these tasks.
We remind you that these tasks must be completed by the deadline indicated in the task guidelines.

Correct any mistakes

No, you can’t. Once your application is submitted, information in the application form cannot be changed or deleted. Please make sure to correctly fill all the fields before clicking on “Submit”.
In case of mistakes, the profile data will be checked and edited by the Admissions and Welcome Unit in the administrative assessment phase.

No, you can’t delete any document after submitting the application.
You have to re-open your application, upload the new document in the relevant task (the document title should read either “NEW” or “UPDATED”) and re-submit your application. Do not worry if you cannot cancel the older file. -
No, you must possess the GPA requirement at the time of the application.
Furthermore, the GPA must be already acquired and it cannot be a projected result.
Therefore, if you believe your GPA will improve in the near future, you may consider applying later but always within the given deadlines.
