The portal to view the available destinations and active agreements can be found at the following https://www.unipd.it/mobility-agreements.
In order to check the list of destination it is necessary to select your degree course from the dropdown menu labeled “Study Field” and the academic of the mobility.
Click on the “Agreements” icon to open the list of agreement and click on the “i” icon to access the information sheet of the agreements with all the details.
To find out the maximum of financed months of mobility for each place it is necessary to divide the total number of months (Number) indicated in the portal by the number of available spots (Total number).
For the second call, the available places (if any) will be updated on the date of the opening of the second call. In case the Information sheet is not available by clicking the “i” icon, it means that there is no available places for that destination.
-
The destinations portal is availaible at the following link and for the second call, the available places, if any, will be updated on the date of the reopening of the call. In case the Information sheet is not available by clicking the “i” icon, it means that there is no available places for that destination.

Ulisse’s mobility allows to engage in courses and related exams, thesis research and internships. Unlike the Erasmus+ Study Call, with the Ulisse Call, it is possible to only carry out internship activities as well. Each foreign institution offers different types of activities, so it is necessary to consult the information of each individual universities to check if the activity of your interest is available.
-
It is possible to find the contact details of students who have completed the mobility in previous years and have given consent to share their email address through the Destination portal of Mobility Online, by clicking on the “Study Abroad Experiences” section in the top left corner of the webpage.
-
It is necessary to submit the application for the Ulisse program on Uniweb within the deadlines specified in the call. A demonstrative tutorial for submitting the application on Uniweb is available on this page.
-
Some destinations may have additional selection requirements or may only be open to specific courses of study. To check such requirements, it is necessary to read the Call and the information of each university on our portal. The language requirements defined in the profiles refer to the documentation that needs to be submitted at the time of the application.
-
All applications without complete documentation will be considered “Not Eligible”. It is not possible to submit any certification at a later time; it is necessary to provide a valid certification at the time of the application.
-
The following documents, exclusively in PDF format, must be attached to the application:
- Proposal of activities to be carried out abroad (mandatory) and/or a letter from the advisor/tutor/supervisor for a thesis or internship.
- Motivational letter (mandatory)
- Language certificates or attestations (mandatory)
- CV, personal statement, letter of recommendation from the instructor (where required)
- Any self-certification confirming grades and the degree obtained if earned at a foreign university.
It is necessary to pay particular attention to the mandatory documents, as the failure to submit even one of them will result in automatic exclusion.
-
Some destinations may have additional selection requirements or may only be open to specific courses of study. To check such requirements, it is necessary to:
- the general requirements indicated in the Call for Application
- the restrictions of the individual Schools
- the specific requirements indicated in the Destinations Portal on Mobility Online
Please note that the language requirements indicated in the portal and in the Call for Application refer to the documentation that must be submitted during the application process, not afterwards.
-
See here for Ateneo selection criteria (Attachment 2).
For Department Agreements, the selection criteria are noted in the agreement form in the Destination portal.
-
Applicants who intend to apply for the mobility project are invited to consider, while filling out the application, that if they are assigned a place they will be required to obtain at least 3 CFU abroad and complete a mobility period lasting a minimum of 2 months.
-
For some host universities and courses of study, it is possible to use a language certification issued by the University Language Center (CLA). In particular, for specific Schools or Departments, CLA offers B1 or B2 level tests for students who do not already have a language certificate and whose study course does not include obtaining the TAL. The results of these tests are valid exclusively for ranking purposes and for the Ulisse mobility program, it is only valid for destinations that accept this type of certification and they are provided to those concerned in time for the preparation of the rankings. Applicants are therefore strongly advised to carefully check, before applying, which certificates are actually required or accepted by the chosen host institution, by consulting the partner universities’ information sheets. They are also advised to verify the scheduled test dates.
-
Following the publication of the successful students list those who have been selected will have to accept the position by the established deadlines (please check the Calendar of Deadlines).
In case that the place has not been accepted within the deadline the student will automatically be considered rejected and the place will be assigned to the next person in line or the place will be available for the second-call.
During the acceptance procedure it is necessary to indicate the expected start of mobility date (which must coincide with the start of the academic activities at the destination University) according to the academic calendar of the Receiving Institution and taking in consideration the note of the destination in the mobility portal, if any. The departure date can be changed during the collection of information for the grant agreement before the departure.
At the first call for a semester-long mobility, it is possible to choose to start in the first or in the second semester (apart from mobilities for fixed semesters, as per the form on the Destination portal).
If the partner university’s website is not updated with the academic calendar for the year of mobility, it is possible to refer to the current year’s calendar.
Please also note that those who participate in the second call are not guaranteed a departure in the first semester.
Please note that on the UniPD website dedicated to the Ulisse call, there is a Mediaspace video and a handbook, which can also be downloaded from Mobility Online, explaining in detail the procedures to follow to submit an application.
-
Once students have formally accepted a mobility place, they will need to formally renounce to the spot if they decide not to go to the assigned destination. After the formal renounce, it will no longer be possible to participate in the second round of mobility calls.
-
If the winners do not accept the place within the established deadlines, they will automatically be considered as students who have declined the exchange placement. All students who decline will not be allowed to apply for the second call. The place that becomes available will be reassigned to candidates in a suitable position in the ranking or, alternatively, at the end of both calls, through the reallocation of vacant places, as indicated in the call. Declining before departure does not prevent participation in future mobility calls. However, if the withdrawal occurs after the start of the mobility period and the minimum duration of two months is not completed, any grants already received must be repaid.
