Non-European Union nationals or stateless people need a residence permit for study purposes if they want to attend University courses for more than three months.<\/p>\n

The final step to obtain a Residence Permit requires an appointment at the Police Headquerters (Questura<\/em>) at Palazzo Bo.<\/p>\n

During this appointment the Police will interview you and check your documents.<\/p>\n

This appointment is mandatory to obtain the Residence Permit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

IMPORTANT<\/strong>: You can book this appointment only <\/strong>if you have already submitted your Residence Permit kit. <\/strong>For information on the Residence Permit first release procedure, please visit the SAOS webpage<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Questura appointments will be held in presence<\/strong> at the Questura office located in Palazzo Bo.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The day of the appointment, you will need to submit the following documents:<\/p>\n

  • 4 passport-size photographs;<\/li>\n
  • the original copies of the documents you sent with the kit<\/strong>;<\/li>\n
  • your passport;<\/li>\n
  • the residence permit postal receipt<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
