Travelling to the heart of Europe
Studying in Europe means immersing yourself in diverse cultures, academic excellence, and a rich historical landscape. The university offers a variety of European mobility programs: whether you are interested in a semester abroad, a double degree, or a short blended program, these opportunities are your gateway to Europe’s academic and cultural heart.
Erasmus+ for studies
Spend a period of study (between 2 and 12 months) at one of the other 500 universities in one of the participating European countries (or also in a non-European country). It is possible to carry out the mobility during every study cycle, to attend courses and take exams, to prepare thesis work and to carry out internship work as long as it runs alongside a period of study.
SEMP
Switzerland’s alternative to Erasmus+. Enjoy the same academic benefits and financial support while studying in one of Europe’s most innovative countries.
VIP (Virtual International Porgramme)
Attend online courses that will allow you to collaborate with people from all over the world, explore topics of personal and/or academic interest, and develop intercultural skills. This program is an excellent option for those who are interested in a virtual exchange experience to complement their studies while staying in Italy.
BIP (Blended Intensive Programmes)
BIP are international learning activities combining online collaboration and a short physical mobility, designed around a “challenge-based” approach. Minimum 3 ECTS must be awarded under this kind of programmes, and the involvement of at least 3 European universities is required.
VIU (Venice International University)
Study in Venice with students from around the world, earn credits through interdisciplinary courses taught in English, and gain a global perspective – all free of charge for Padua students.
Erasmus+ for PhD
University of Padua offers its PhD students the opportunity to participate in Erasmus+ International Mobility programmes, based on 1800 agreements with over 500 partner institutions.
Double degree
Earn two degrees in one international experience: study at Padua and a partner university abroad, and graduate with a double degree recognized in both countries.
Global intensive (Blended and virtual)
Participate in one of the intensive, blended and/or virtual programmes promoted by the University of Padua and organised within strategic partnerships, consortia or international cooperation projects with the aim of promoting the internationalisation of the curriculum, also at home.
